Crux and Coalsack Nebula - Gigalaxy science print resulting in these jagged ringsOn the southern Milky Way there is an area which can be easily spoted even an unexperienced night sky observer. It is a darker, hand size part of the sky in the middle of the Milky Way disk. It is the Coalsack nebula located near very a characteristic Crux constellation. This nebula is an around 30 light years wide star dust cloud. It can be easily spotted even by the naked eye, because it blocks the light from the dense Milky Way in the background.
