Salvador Dalí: The Bishop Cum Troubadour, Heaven Canto 9, The Divine Comedy chumleeart from original art by RandyLe Paradis, Canto 9 Dante's Divine Comedy Illustrated by Salvador Dal This woodcut lithograph is from what is considered Salvador Dals most ambitious project, Dantes The Divine Comedy. Originally commissioned by the Italian government to celebrate the 700th anniversary of Dantes birth, the project was eventually abandoned by the Italians, Dali pressed forward over a ten year period to paint 100 original watercolors illustrating the epic poem and
