A rare Waffen SS battlefield relic M40 Stahlhelm, constructed of a magnetic molybdenum steel shell. The exterior retains some of its original matte dark green painted finish. Two protruding rivets are set into the sides of the helmet near the front, with an empty rivet socket also located at the back of the helmet. It is flanked on each side by an integrated ventilation hole. On the right side, the helmet bears the remnants
